Have you tried pork meatballs?
To a pound of ground pork, add minced ginger and garlic, soy sauce and corn starch. Roll into balls and cook. Pork has never tasted better. For this dish, you won't need any shellfish. Of course, it couldn't hurt to add some either.

Manners have a purpose
Our daily doings can be a toil, or they can be pleasant and uplifting. It all depends on whether we mind our manners. Even when shellfish is grumpy, he never snaps at pork. Another reason why pork and shellfish go so well together.

We support each other
When someone says something negative about pork, shellfish speaks up. And pork will not let you talk smack about shellfish. It's how we roll. Especially pork.

And shellfish for pork. We never let anything come between us. Except rice and vegetables!

Once meat is cooked, it can be kept in your refrigerator for only about a week, but it can be stored frozen almost indefinitely. Especially pork.

Remember trichinosis?
Most cases are due to consumption of home-processed meats from noncommercial farm-raised pigs and wild game. Now when you order pork in fine restaurants, they are asking "How would you like that cooked?"
We are excited about this development. Especially pork.

There is no love in a vacuum
No matter how strong the love is, it has to exist in the world with everyone else. Unless you're homesteading in the woods. And then we say good luck with that. Especially pork.

In The Holy Bible, God prohibits the eating of us
But then He says "these...ye may eat; the locust after its kind, and the bald locust after its kind, and the cricket after its kind, and the grasshopper after its kind."
Which would you rather have with some home-baked bread?

Pork and shellfish cannot tell you how to live your life
So if you are coming to this blog for that, sorry. We can only tell you what has worked for us. You need to find your own path. Ignore the paths that others are walking on - they are not yours.

Not everyone likes pork and shellfish
It used to bother us a little, but now we're okay with it. We realized that trying to please others is a recipe for unhappiness.

Pork sometimes hangs with other meats
And shellfish doesn't mind. Shellfish understands that what makes pork so delicious is being with different meats and seafoods. Just because pork is great with other meats doesn't make pork and shellfish any less delicious together.

Pork and shellfish do not care who Dick Cheney shoots
We care how he governs the country. Who among us can say they haven't accidentally shot someone? Let us judge the man by his political record, not by his hunting technique. We thank you. Especially pork.

A Message from Pork and Shellfish
Pork and shellfish condemn violence as a way to express discontent with what is printed in the free press. We urge Muslim protestors and other angry rioters across the globe to "stop the violence." Especially pork.

Sometimes pork is feeling insecure
but shellfish is not in the mood to reassure pork. It can happen the other way around as well. Pork and shellfish both have their moods, and sometimes they clash. It's like that in every relationship.
Push on through.
Push on through.

Without shellfish, what would pork be?
Pork is made complete by shellfish, and vice versa. Consider them apart and then together: Are you beginning to see?

Pork accepts shellfish
And shellfish accepts pork. That's why they taste so great together. That doesn't mean that pork doesn't sometimes drive shellfish crazy. On the contrary, pork is far from perfect. But shellfish knows that no one is perfect. Especially pork.

Seek what they sought.

Robert Frost never wrote a poem called The Road Less Traveled
It is called The Road Not Taken, and it is not about doing your own thing or being yourself. Read it again and see.

How can you find happiness?
It is different for each person. It's different for pork. It's different for shellfish. You have to find your own way. I do not seek to follow in the footsteps of the men of old; I seek what they sought - Buddha

"Rejoice in your growth, in which you naturally can take no one with you"
Rilke said that, but pork and shellfish know it to be true. Especially pork.
