Pork is afraid of growing old

Once meat is cooked, it can be kept in your refrigerator for only about a week, but it can be stored frozen almost indefinitely. Especially pork.

Comments:
The good news is that with an ample amount of nitrates and other preservativey things, some foods can be stored forever or until the World comes to an end (which ever occurs first). Especially pork.

Pork gets pulpy once you defrost it, and shellfish gets tough and chewy. Once frozen, they do not make a pretty couple. Unless they're in soup.
